Carrie Corpas
Co-Executive Director
Aspiring financial analyst, Carrie Corpas is currently studying Chemical Engineering at Brooklyn Technical High School, one of NYC’s most prestigious specialized high schools. With a passion for problem-solving, she has combined her analytical mindset with her dedication to service by tutoring students in mathematics—both as a paid instructor and a volunteer.
Carrie became involved with Project SeeShell after learning about the financial and emotional challenges faced by individuals living with the loss of an eye. Motivated by a desire to create meaningful, accessible solutions, she recognized an opportunity to apply her interest in financial systems to support a cause that bridges healthcare innovation and equity. Her goal is to help make prosthetic eyes more affordable and available to those who need them most.
As Co-Executive Director of Project SeeShell, Carrie is dedicated to supporting the development and distribution of ocular prosthetics through a model that unites science, economics, and advocacy. She is passionate about driving change at the intersection of medicine and finance, and through her work with the organization, she aims to push the boundaries of what’s possible in equitable healthcare access.
